2023 – Update of Management & Quality Management Software
Further digitalization of workflows, including the introduction of the legally compliant document management system humbee across the entire company and the acquisition of the quality assurance software CAQ for targeted control of incoming goods inspections, initial sampling, requalification, and supplier evaluation.

2021 – Solar Power System – Sustainability Is More Than Just a Word to Us
Installation of a solar energy system on our company building as a strong commitment to environmental and climate protection – another step toward becoming a climate-neutral business.

2020 – Expansion of Our Serial Production Portfolio
Initial sampling and series delivery of our largest injection-molded filter screen to date – with a length of nearly half a meter.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the broadened customer base already revealed the early success of our strategic realignment.

2017–2018 – Certifications
Strategic repositioning to strengthen competitiveness. Focus on DIN EN ISO 9001 for a lean corporate structure.

2014 – Commitment and Investment in Education
Beginning of cooperation with Hochschule Niederrhein and sponsorship of students as part of the German national scholarship program Deutschlandstipendium.

2013 – Optimization and Modernization of Our Logistics
With the move to Meerbusch, we invested in expanding and equipping our high-bay warehouse to optimize logistics operations.

1993–2003 – New Management and Certifications
Jörg Hebmüller joined the company and took over management in 1996.
Certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2002.

1975–1985 – Establishment of Hebmüller Technik Klaus Hebmüller
Founding of the sole proprietorship Hebmüller Technik Klaus Hebmüller in Neuss. Conversion of Hebmüller KG into Hebmüller GmbH.

1948–1952 – Coachbuilding with an Abrupt End
After World War II, Hebmüller produced 675 units of the two-seater VW Beetle convertible (Type 14A). Following a devastating factory fire in 1949, the company filed for bankruptcy in 1952, and approximately 700 employees lost their jobs.

1919–1930 – The Next Generation Takes Over
The founder’s sons took over the company, which was renamed Karosseriewerke Joseph Hebmüller Söhne. Over time, the firm specialized in Pullman limousines and convertibles, including patenting a unique convertible top system.

1889 – Founding and Carriage Manufacturing
Founded as Karosserie Hebmüller in Wuppertal by Joseph Hebmüller Sr., great-grandfather of Jörg Hebmüller. With the manufacture of carriages and wagons, the Hebmüller family began its legacy in vehicle construction.
